I feel infinitely better after taking a shower. :) My head has cleared up nicely, and wow.. the windows are even open tonight because it's cooled off a good deal. I could actually close my door tonight... but I don't know if I will.

We bought the Intuition razor at Target, and tonight I tried it out. Very nice, my legs haven't felt this smooth in a long time. :D

Well, as always, the shower provided great inspiration for the fic I'm planning on writing.. I swear, it's like the bathroom is a shrine to the muses or something. There's just something about the solace and the porcelain and all the toiletries that strikes creativity. Hard.

I must ask someone (or find out on my own) about the specifics of Charles and Max's families. All I know for sure is that Klinger had like a million uncles, hasn't mentioned any horrible family tragedies (that I know of..), cross-dressing to get a section 8 runs in the family, and... he had a sister... or cousin... uh, and Charles has Honoria and his parents.. and is his father Charles Emerson Winchester II? I would think so, but maybe I'm wrong... I have no idea how that works. Can you skip a generation with that stuff? No clue. So, yeah, I'm pretty fucken lost, in case that wasn't apparent.

Well, anyway... my plan was that they decide once and for all when back in the states (I know, meaning the finale would never take place and there'd be no Soon Lee... it'd badly shatter canon, and I'm worried about that. Course... it's just for fun... and more a challenge piece than anything else..) that they're going to tell their parents that they're together. It all goes horribly wrong, of course. Charles' family isn't anti-homosexuality or anything, but they think that Max is a horriffic choice of beaux, and Klinger's family is shocked that he's acting romantic toward another man AFTER being out of the army.

I got a few minor plot ideas; which follow.

-Klinger is in a guest room which Honoria left a dress in. He picks it up in surprise and tries it on. At that moment, a maid comes in and is shocked to see him dressed that way. He tries to reassure her, saying kindly, "It's okay. I had one just like it during the war."

-Charles is talking about it with Honoria, and she says something along the lines of "I've known you were that way since we were children." I dunno if I'm gonna do that, but time will tell.

-Klinger's (father or closest male relative), after hearing Max say that he and Charles are (insert euphamism here): "But... son.... you.. you're OUT of the army now!"

-They meet later on after their families have totally forbade their relationship, and Max says that now both their parents think he's a loon.

Charles: *kindly* Nothing could be further from the truth. My parents simply think you're (insert all kinds of insults here).

Max tells Charles that he can't reason with his parents and they want him to go back to Toledo with them and see a shrink and possibly a priest. Charles says the whole thing will blow over, and Max accuses him of not being able to stand up to his parents. Charles says OF COURSE he can stand up to them, and Max says fine then, go tell them right now. Charles says, no no no, they need time to think things over and consider the other perspective. Finally Max says exasperatedly, you won't convince them at all, you just want to wait for THEM to change their minds.

Charles: Which they will!

Max: Long after I'm locked up in a padded cell and my subscription to Mademoiselle is confiscated!

Yeah... I think this one is gonna be fun! :D
