So, they broke in to Law and Order (to my knowledge, the only network channel that has been broken into) saying there was an explosion in Baghdad and that Air Raid sirens were going off.

*sighs* That picture of Baghdad, just about a half hour before dawn makes me so sad. Can't anyone see.. how their sky before dawn is just the same as ours? Deep blue, cloudy.. foreboding...

What the HELL is wrong with the military. They can't TELL us at the deadline that they're going to strike. No, they have to make us sit here and think everything's okay. They have to wait until Baghdad's just beginning to wake up.. daylight has broken in Baghdad, and the beautiful blue calm of night has burned away to reveal the same morning we all know and love.

I'm sure someone would call me a hippie after saying something like that.. but that's how I see it. It's a sin... a damn sin to purge that beauty with some bullshit like air strikes.
