Jul. 14th, 2003 08:29 pmI missed half of my M*A*S*H fix today, and here's why.
Grandma called us up and, bearing in mind that she had a doctor's appointment tomorrow, guess what? She went to the hospital! :O But we had to run down and open the door for them, so I missed half of M*A*S*H. Oh, the misery.... the complete and total misery. How dare they make me miss an episode where Charles makes a huge mistake and they're trying to improve morale. GRRRK!!
But the first episode was tasty. Father Mulcahy was up for a promotion but someone lost his file so he didn't get promoted. But, not to fear, because Klinger came to the rescue (yeah!!!) and somehow got through to some head chaplain dude at the Pentagon by pretending to be some big shot's wife and la dee da, he got his promotion.
The subplot was this feud between some Greek guys and some Turkish guys that broke out in Rosie's bar and Charles actually instigated it somehow (that boy just can't walk into a bar, can he??), so him, BJ and Hawkeye had to run the bar while Rosie was in the hospital. Of course, everything went horribly wrong and stuff, but in the end it was okay.
Okay... man, these quotes so rule.
Potter: "He's got his head so far up in the clouds when he says his prayers he opens with 'while I'm in the neighborhood...'"
Klinger: "Oh my god! It's gotten worse! Now Hawkeye's beating up a couple of cripples!"
Some punk at the bar: "Hey, Pudgy!" (trying to get Charles' attention *dies*)
Oh yeah. It turned out I still had a bunch of Gator shit on Netta, despite running AdAware just a few days ago. I think that Keenvalue shit that just came out of nowhere may be affiliated with Gator, but I got rid of that too, and lo! Much smoother running.
