I just saw part one of the episode where Margaret and Hawkeye get it on.
Actually, it's not squicky because I have very little emotional attachment to either character, but fkjdjfhaeuhfuigjdffadasfuai4hr. I'm sorry. I know it's the pressure and everything, and at least they weren't all sappy beforehand, and they managed to stay in character and Margaret didn't suddenly turn into TOO much of a weepy little girl, but still. Grrrrrr @ main character implied sex.
Funny last line, though. "They must be going through hell!!" and then it freeze-framed on those two making out. X__x;;
The first episode was great, though, and it's the first time I ever saw Sidney. Not anywhere as infuriating as I imagined he'd be. I guess I shouldn't let people on jumptheshark.com get the better o' me. I mean, I guess he'd be annoying if he had to spend a whole episode listening to Hawkeye whine, but just talking to everyone else, he was just fine.
I also find it fascinating how much they threw into Margaret/Charles tension.
"You think I'm secretly infatuated with him!"
"She must be madly in love with me!"
Not to mention the weird dinner thing in the episode where they got food poisoning from the pheasant... It's almost like there was some unspoken rule that Margaret and whoever the other major was had to be an item, and then one day someone said, "You know what, no. This sucks."
